Iscosa has access to a diverse range of skilled artisans with oil exploration industry experience and are capable of providing suitable skills to supplement an operator’s normal requirements.

South Africa is a technologically advanced industrialized country and Iscosa can arrange specialised repairs to oilfield tubular, stabilizers, cross over subs and blow out preventers. Iscosa utilises outside contractors to rewind and repair a variety of electric motors and alternators and to rebuild Caterpillar, Deutz, Detroit Diesel and Mercedes Benz engines with factory rebuild warranties.

Iscosa (Proprietary) Limited is a wholly owned South African company founded in 1976, incorporated and registered in terms of the Companies Act 1973 (Act 61) with Company Registration Number 1976/04406/07.
The company directors are Henri du Toit and Ivan R Freeman
The Auditors are BDO South Africa.

Since inception the company has been committed to promote the export of South African manufactured goods and services to the oil exploration industry. In addition to South Africa, Iscosa has been operating in Africa, in Namibia, Botswana, Angola,  Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Sierra Leone, Cameroon and Ivory Coast, and on the east coast in Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya.

The company is the largest “Oilfield Service and Supply Company” in South Africa and are considered to be outsourcing specialists.

Iscosa and its subsidiaries have a proven track record of competence; we are multi skilled and have hands on experience in oilfield mining and applications.

Iscosa has been in business since 1976 and has never had need to enter into litigation. Our approach is to enter into contracts that clearly define our obligations and responsibilities, where we consider there to be an exposure we will insure the risk at our own expense. Iscosa are full members of the Cape Town chamber of commerce and the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce.

The company’s database contains thousands of South African suppliers offering several million different items, Iscosa’s team of specialist buyers has the necessary skills to do price/quality evaluations on the basis of “suitable for purpose” and are all experienced in the supply chain management.
